Alternatively you can use something like KeepScreen to keep your screen on

(Not so) important Android app requirement

I've got a docking station to charge my android.

The phone sits on my desk in landscape view and I just have the black screen staring at me.

I can set an app to come on automatically when it's docked and I'd like something that scrolls news or twitter posts etc. Something that's of interest but sensible enough for work - ie. I don't want to show a slideshow of all my photos or anything.

    Any suggestions?
