That'll do for today, I think.

The clock keeps the steady beat,
reminding us of our wasted time,
evey second being thrown away,
to the never ending battle of life,
The colors around me blend uncontrollably,
the pinks, whites, and light purples,
without room for blacks, blues and greens,
pushing out the brighter colors,
with no desire to forge their own path and make their own color,
the images around me,
are fuzzy and out of focus,
like the photograhper used a weak lense,
and couldn't pick up on the details,
small things that make people different,
Growing up,
trying to fit in,
why should another second,
ticking away before us,
be spent in the blender,
i need of the perfect teen image,
that is so unfocused,
so shallow,
never a moment,
when i don't her the beat,
the sad warning,
that i just lost a second of my life,
and i can never recover it,
it is lost to me forever,
i feel it pulsing in my heart in the ground and in my mind,
i feel it,
slipping away,
leaving me,
life.
