Do angels breathe

As angels are God's messengers, I would presume they'd need to breathe in to have the air to talk. At least, when manifested in human form, anyway.

But as ethereal beings, breathing should be an unnecessary, if not undesirable, trait.

Why? Are you worried about farts scaring them off?

Of course they don't. Angels are etheral. They also do 2D20 damage.
