Probably because you hadn't consumed the requisite amount of beer prior to the kebab.

Yeah that the one - big mistake was to get that kebab...

I remember it well.

Many nights, I staggered there to ask for a "buggered chicken" as that was the best description of their chicken burgers.

It's handy that there are 3 or 4 decent pubs within "falling distance" of that place as well.
