A Warhead Electrical Engineer is required to prepare and maintain design documentation for the Trident Arming, Fuzing & Firing (AF&F) system components. Prepare technical assessments based on US and UK qualification and surveillance evidence. To undertake modifications to the UK Trident design package. To participate in System Testing at relevant test facilities. To be aware of and comply with all relevant Health, Safety and Environmental Legislation and internal Company Environment, Health, Safety, Security and Quality Standards. To prepare technical reports on the outcome of electrical surveillance trials and investigations. To manage the electrical aspects of long term storage trials on components. To support the acquisition and introduction of special electrical test equipment into UK facilities. To support warhead surveillance and production activities and processing activities. To support the trials and qualification programme for the introduction of modifications. To review formal technical documentation. To present technical information to peer groups and MOD customers. To act as Secretary of the Electrical Product Realisation Team. Ideal candidates for this role will be Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience. Membership of a Professional Engineering Institution. Knowledge of Warhead Electrical Systems and their technologies is desirable. Knowledge of military systems ? electrical/electronic would be
