This calls for a coming of age film where a young IT nerd is thrust into the final game of the season for his high school's football team; falling in love with the captain of the cheerleading squad. No doubt helped by his geeky friends hacking the scoreboard system and proving "science" solutions to further the teams progress. At the end they'll just win by a point, the cheerleader will kiss the nerd and the high school "jock" captain of the team will be humilated/have new found respect for the geek.Originally posted by lightng View PostNot at all. Sorry if this offends - I do come out with cr@p from time to time - can't deny that.
There is a generalisation though that IT people are nerds ... and nerds are not known to make good quarterbacks.
Anyway. The toughguy race. What are the chances of a contractoruk team? Some teams pull around a piece of iron like a cannon. Maybe we could carry an old mainframe around the course?
..actually, I'm off to Hollywood to sell my idea!

Race
I'm running the London Marathon next year as a first-timer. Just something I gotta do before I hit 40 and a good way to raise some pennies for my fave charity.
I've also been looking around at other stuff to do before I croak it. I know IT Contractors aren't generally well known for sport / keep-fit but has anyone ever completed or considered taking part in the tough guy event?
