Darren U - cheers for doing us a massive favour by beating the nouveau riche showponies and enabling us to win the league at Sh1te Hart Lane
By my reckoning, that means we have won the league at their place as many times (and possibly more) than they have
Although when I saw the looks on the faces of the thousands of Spuds who were waiting for us outside when we were finally let out of the ground, I did begin to wonder if it ws actually much of a 'favour'...:\ Strangely enough, none of the violence was reported, and yet Northumberland Park was beginning to look like Fallujah at one stage. I see the Spuds are still as bitter as ever.
Great goal by Shearer btw, hope you go on to finish 4th, and best of luck against Marseille, if any team deserves a trophy after 35 years, it's your lot. Up the Toon !

Can't see the Gooners throwing it away now, they've wobbled a bit but should be ok.

Hope Newcastle gets the fourth European Champion's league place.

Guest repliedI am sure not even Arsenal can blow a twelve point lead.
Reduced still further to 4 due to Chelsea winning at the weekend, but we have a game in hand (Portsmouth away).

You know how it goes however.
Not lost all season, then a back-to-back league defeat.
Spent Saturday lunch with a Woolwich supporter ....

Guest repliedThis is getting silly!!!
There are now ten of you who think Guildford Utd are going to win the title. My earlier prediction (that they'll be battling it out with the Geordies for 4th place) may not be all that far wrong...

>Any of you 8 MoanU voters want to change your mind?
I know that replying to one's own posts calls for a short spell in the padded cell (i.e. Milan's room) but since I've been away in Spain watching our relentless march to the Treble another retard has cast their vote for Fergie's ****-ups.
At least I'll have some company in the aforementioned cell...:lol

I used to live in Wolverhampton a few years, not far from Moleneux Stadium - and its amazing how loud the crowds can cheer that is otherwise crappy team :lol
