Errr - just realised that the 40% I remembered was the percentage of the vote that NL got not the turnout.

1997 was 71%
2001 was 59%

so if it's not over 45% it will be a miracle.

JamieMoles asked what would happen if nobody voted - well I've no idea because somebody always will but turnouts are declining big time.
