Some Local Authority Legal Departments have departed from the Local Authority and have started an ABS (an Alternative Business Structure). They then tender for work from other LA's.
They then charge out and act as a private law firm thus making a profit (or at least that's the intention!).
Does anyone know if the ABS is subject to FOI requests and therefore are still deemed to be a PSB?
Sorry if that's too technical a question, I also appreciate this forum is largely for IT contractors to which this probably won't apply.
