    Unfortunately my friend not much.

    1, You may be able to make representations at getting the APN withdrawn on certain grounds, best to speak with big group or a tax specialist, but primarily on grounds such as incorrect figures, time limits (although very hard to prove)
    2, Pay it if you can afford it
    3, agree a payment plan with HMRC as soon as possible
    4, don't pay and await to consequences, which will be penalties and possibly debt collectors.

    its a mad bad world out there at the moment sadly

    I have just received an APN from HMRC and i am at a total loss what to do. It is for tax year ending april 2011 when i was with Darwin. Can anyone give any suggestions please
