    So the APN was based on correct figures/dates but the settlement calc was not?

    bonkers.

    AML PBT is the future problem for me.

    The above is a thing of beauty.
    It gets the point across that in their eyes the only "fair" amount of tax for us is 100% tax.

    Reluctantly paid both small APN's today

    One small amount for 08-09 and a small amount for 09-10 total <£10k. When I sent the details to the CLSO I stated that these were all 09-10 (as payments were received in April 09) what HMRC did was just add these to the original amount.

    for example
