I would be more worried about young children wanting to imitate him.

  • Dancer hoisted up by the neck on the Paul O'Grady show

Happened to catch sight of a solo act in the Paul O'Grady show just now, featuring a dancer who started her act by being lifted up by her neck on a rope and then pirouetting around in various ways.

Not a bad act overall, and obviously she did the neck bit with all the tension at the back. But as the risk of sounding like a fuss pot, it didn't seem right to show this at 6:40pm when loads of young kids would be watching and might later want to imitate her.

Oh well, I guess the producers know best, and it must be safer than showing someone smoking on TV.

Working...
