Guardian readers. Protectors of the New Lie ideology that not paying the maximum tax possible is somehow morally wrong.

Top Tip

If any Guardian reader feels they are not paying enough tax, make up some figures on your next tax return to artificially inflate your earnings.

Actually maybe "this shagged 1980s landrover was refurbished in desert camouflage" is more realistic.

I have to say I'm not a big fan of the Guardian, but every now and again they do an article exposing hypocrisy on a massive scale

Phillip Green gets a Knighthood, we would be put in jail for tax evasion.

As dear old Robert Kiyosaki would say the rich make the rules, not the poor and middle classes.
