    My favourite episode is where they need to get medicine to some cabin in the middle of a forest fire, and the only way is by plane. Unfortunately there's nowhere to land so they propose parachuting in, but it's too dangerous for the guy to do it.

    So instead you see the parachute get strapped to the dog, who then leaps out.

    I've just realised, I never felt happy after watching an episode of the littlest hobo. The poor dog never found a home and just kept moving on. So sad.
