Fair enough but in light of this I'm sure should the client ever want similar work done they would be more inclined to contact the good contractors they had previously? I understand it's frustrating there is a chap I worked with at Sky (my previous gig) who comes in at 11am and leaves at 5pm and takes over an hour for lunch everyday and it used to grate on me immensely but even though people noticed it nothing was done. So I just did what I was contracted to do and decided to go elsewhere I have since learned to let things go over my head, I would prefer this approach as I want to build my reputation as being one of the best at what and I do and not be branded a troublemaker as that could adversely effect me getting contracts.

Sometimes it's what you don't say that counts. People aren't stupid, and while you may cotten on quicker than them, they will cotten on. If you mention it, you somehow become embroiled, so sit back, relax and enjoy the ride.

I was working on a gig and there was indeed a person from the Asian continent hired to work there. He would arrive after 10 and leave before 4. He would also attend meetings and really rub client up the wrong way. Suity sat back and just performed his usual rope vending services.

He got tulipcanned after 3 months.

Sometimes you have to lean back, before springing forward.

If the project is delivered or not there is not going to be extended as we are only here to make sure the deadline is met. So these guys are just milking it as best as they can.

PC is right you'll only end up getting yourself in trouble and to fair it's not worth the hassle it's far better to ignore it and let someone else deal with it. I've yet to see anyone have their contract cut short for extracting the urine though when it comes to renewal time generally they don't get one.

So let the team lead worry about it.

I'm sorry but I've learnt long ago that its pointless worrying about what others are doing and what others are saying about you. Even in permie world, theres always someone who will stitch you up or get credit for something they didn't do. It happens.

Unfortunately, its not always the ones who work hardest who get on. Understand how it wasses you off - it would me too but I don't reckon theres much you can do.

Flagged up the issue today with team lead - another bob on board and he is slacking as well. Came in today at 10am and left at 4pm while the rest of us our slogging our guts to get this stuff delivered. If the thing ain't delivered then we will collectively have fingers pointed at us - so if others are being lazy about delivery then I am not going to sit back and take the flack for it too.....

Your getting way too wound about someone else...
