I thought maybe these would be going up with a likely interest rate hike in the offing but best instant access ISA I can find on some comparison site is 1.92%. Derisory, I've been on 2.15% for the past year.
Still , only another year and I'll have the deposit for my first BTL...
Banker 1: "Oh, the cost of borrowing may or may not go up in the next year or so".
Banker 2: "Really? Well then lets give a better return to people who invest money now. Otherwise they might still invest with us and we won't need to give them so much".
