I'm off to Scott's on Saturday night.
My two favourite restaurants at the moment are L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon and Gauthier Soho. Both are superb.

Langans Brasserie
I quite enjoy Langans before or after an evening "do" in London.
Lots to suit all tastes from Bangers n Mash through to pan fried guinea fowl.
For Zeity, I can highly recommend the pan fried calves liver, the steaks are glorious too.
A few years ago I booked a table for 10 for a birthday bash, they asked if I wanted any "surprises", I said it wouldn't be that much of a surprise as it was my birthday I was booking for ! I might surprise myself on the night by not ordering something chocolate for dessert but that would be it.
Fabulous meal, and great service, then, after the mains, they asked if anyone wanted dessert or if they were going to share the birthday girls' " Langans Surprise" ??
We of course went with the latter and they brought out a very nice chocolate cake, with Happy birthday piped on it, replete with sparkly things, with ice cream, cream and fudge sauce on the side (which was not put on the bill!).
Very nice of them I thought, and I of course had to have the lions share - it would have been rude not to !
