I seem to have created a phishing site by accident. As plan B, I created a website that provides a service for the product of a largish company X. Domain name is similar but different. Website looks nothing like original company's, other company does loads of things, my website is just one thing.

Anyway, I've had 2 (out of a few hundred) sales go bad, because half way through the transaction they realised I wasn't company X. One guy realised that he made a stupid mistake, enough said. But this other women has started to go off on one about fraud, police, etc.

How can people be so stupid?
