Pretty sure there is.....you can categorise people into buckets like 'colleague' or 'friend' IIRC

Linkedin 'contacts'

I've just added yet another blonde bimbo to my linkedin contacts. Is there a way to group your contacts into agents and real contacts? I really like Google+ for it's circles, but no-one is using it

I suppose I could have two linkedin accounts but updating all the different social media accounts is tiresome.
