Wind chill plus lost latent heat due to partial evaporation of droplets during short drive caused metal roof to dip below freezing, and wiping remaining droplets left film of water thin enough to rapidly equalise with roof temperature and thus freeze ?

This is odd

This is odd
The temperature last night was +4c. Drove the car for ten minutes, parked it and went shopping, Came back, it was covered in condensation. When wiping it off the metal roof, it froze as I wiped. Checked the outside temperature it was +3 to +4c.
