It seems to me that all the CAGW drum bangers have either moved on to do some actual proper environmental work (like Richard Black from the BBC) or have instead have jumped on the militant atheism band wagon.

It looks like the stories halved when the carbon market began to tank.

Which leads to the conclusion that the market makers were planting stories to hype the product, or keep it in the public eye.

There may be another reason, but it would be the ulimate irony if the greenie watermelons have been duped by the wide-boys into lining their pockets. A bit like a medeival hermit and true believer urging the people to buy indulgences from the fat corrupt bishop.

started a topic A different take on Global Warming

A different take on Global Warming

There is an organisation in the states that tallies the daily media stories and tweets etc that relate to CAGW.

I would have expected slow rises and falls in media stories, with maybe a spike up at conference time, or a spike down during the Olympics etc.

What I would NOT expect, is a step change , and definately not a step change down. That would suggest a systematic seeding of stories that suddenly stopped. But how ? and more importantly why ?

This is the data that shows the step change. And a fine piece of detective work that examines WHY it happened.

Working...
