The point I was making....
As my little rant now seems to be spanning 2 threads I thought I would start another one. What I was objecting to is the constant bleat from NL and socialist types that anyone who has made a success of their life is 'greedy' or 'selfish'. IMHO, and no doubt I will be stoned or stabbed for this opinion, you only get one life - why should you live it for someone else. Don't get me wrong I would never hurt anyone who had done nothing to hurt me but I will not get sucked into the 'you should look after those less fortunate that yourself' malarky. Why should I? OK it's really un-pc but why should I?
I don't profess to work harder than anyone else (let's face it if I did I wouldn't be on here talking to you lot) but I do resent NL's attempts to make me feel guilty for earning a good living.
Dons hard hat and takes cover.Tags: None
