    some people think it is quicker, but in my experience the people making those claims are using an old version of IE.

    I use first row sports for all my streaming.

    It's just a different protocol on the link so that when you click on it from within a web browser it will open in the Sopcast client. Nothing magic or better about it.

    Was looking into the world of streaming this weekend (for a certain sporting event in Germany not shown live by the BBC) and came across "sop" for the first time.

    Anyone tried it? Any better than the existing streams - which all seemed to be SD quality in the low MBs range?

    Would like to know before downloading and installing the software and then wasting my time at the start of the next event trying to find a decent sop stream.
