    started a topic Typical Permies.

    Typical Permies.

I work in a 1970s type building with little ventilation and few open windows. I checked the weather forecast on Monday and so popped into Curry’s to buy a desk fan. They were so cheap the salesman gave it to me as a goodwill gesture.

No other fans are in the office and at midday day the manager decides it’s too hot and he should order some fans.
3pm all permies go home early because it was too hot. Manager decides to fill in form.

Tuesday also hot, manger takes form to requisitions department.
Permies go home early because it’s too hot.

Today, permies ask for fans. Manger says they are putting the order through today.

I recon they will be here in ten days.
