Never had a contract through them personally but I know a few who have. I've dealt with one particular agent on a number of occasions and wouldn't have any problems giving her a thumbs up.

Gold Group Recruitment
Hi All,
I had a very odd phone call today from Gold Group recruitment.
w ww.goldgroup.co.uk - Specialist Technical Recruitment Agency - Gold Group
Started off like a normal agency call, very friendly, saying they had loads of contract jobs, finding my requirements etc etc.
Then asked for my permission to send my CV to their clients, very odd as no companies/roles mentioned. I asked what roles they actually had at this point.
Then asked which companies I had applied to already in order not to duplicate applications (!), so I said a couple that I knew were dead in the water.
Then asked for contact names at these companies, at this point I hung up. Clearly just fishing for companies who are looking for contractors.
I'm a newbie to contracting, done one contract only so far. Starting to get the hang of things when dealing with agents, but this was a whole new level of weird. There website looks very professional and has jobs listed.
Anyone had any dealings with them? I wonder if the jobs on the website actually exist.
