Where Was I?

A beach, pebbly I think, with a railway running along it. I think the railway may have been disused but the rails were still there. There were one or two rudimentary halts along its length - just basic concrete platforms.

I don't recall it being a particularly attractive beach, neither was it in a built up area.

Probably in the UK or Ireland but possibly mainland Europe.
