Glad to hear the market is tip top diddly spiffing for everyone else. For me it's not. I don't know why. Clearly I am alone in this, so shall do you all a favour and go down the plug hole in peace and quiet.

Consider this a flounce if you like, it's more a case of "ok **** it, you win, you're all better than me I'm no good so I give up"

Ffffffsssssssssssssss. Anyone got the disinfectant, mop and bucket?

The fact that you claim to have been the latter should tell you why you're not getting contracts.
    I supect it's a general quality issue.

Any BAs care to voice opinion on the market? I've not restricted myself on location either, and the only gigs in my field are banking and finance which I've never got my big break in.

Interestingly one of my buddies is starting a new role with a well known bank working in resource management and his first task is to weed out all the dross and look outside the old boys club for fresh talent.

I get begging emails from agents every day. Quite a few speculative mails via Linkedin from the more resourceful HR (see what I did there) depts. in blue-chips.
    No I'm not joking.
    Serious shortage in my field.

Judging by the number of email newsletters I've been getting telling me how brilliant the contract market is, I'd say pretty terrible. The more they have to tell you it's good news, the worse it is.
