My Mam did it numerous times, she says single figures but we reckon low teens.

I failed 5 times.

I also stopped telling people after the first couple of fails. Glad it worked out eventually.

My missus failed her driving test three times, and I told her she shouldn't tell anyone next time, big secret pressure off.

Got a text off her at lunch time, 'Yay, just passed my driving test!!'

She didn't even tell me!!!

Happy tho, her turn to be the taxi service and let's see what happens when I leave banana skins to go black and rotten in her door bins....
