    The law is pointless

    Was watching this program on the Welsh police. They raid this woman's house, she has a large amount of class C (valium - didnt know you werent allowed to have that) and some class B. They suspect she might be drug dealing. They then find a gun, which turns out to be some kind of pistol.

    At the end of the program, they reveal she was released and had to pay a £300 fine. What was the point of even bothering? We'd be better off having a judge dread like system where he goes "Do you have drugs in the house?" "Yes" "Ok thats a £300 fine" rather than about 10 officers spending hours searching every bit of her house, then questioning her, all the other legal peoples time.

    It must have cost £1000s. No wonder this country is broke.
