Maybe they should get the customers of the Plymouth Ladbrokes in to administer justice?

The law is pointless
Was watching this program on the Welsh police. They raid this woman's house, she has a large amount of class C (valium - didnt know you werent allowed to have that) and some class B. They suspect she might be drug dealing. They then find a gun, which turns out to be some kind of pistol.
At the end of the program, they reveal she was released and had to pay a £300 fine. What was the point of even bothering? We'd be better off having a judge dread like system where he goes "Do you have drugs in the house?" "Yes" "Ok thats a £300 fine" rather than about 10 officers spending hours searching every bit of her house, then questioning her, all the other legal peoples time.
It must have cost £1000s. No wonder this country is broke.Tags: None
