And Hazard's actions were nowhere near as bad as Cantona's. He'll probably get another 1 or 2 matches added to the red card ban but I doubt there'll be any more.

Cantona was arrested and convicted for assault, resulting in a two week prison sentence. This was overturned in the appeal court and instead he was sentenced to 120 hours of community service.
In accordance with the Football Association's wishes, Manchester United suspended Cantona for the remaining four months of the 1994–95 season, which ruled him out of first team action as United were still in the hunt for a second double. He was also fined £20,000.
The Football Association then increased the ban to eight months (up to and including 30 September 1995) and fined him a further £10,000. The FA Chief Executive Graham Kelly described his attack as "a stain on our game" that brought shame on football. FIFA then confirmed the suspension as worldwide, meaning that Cantona couldn't escape the ban by transferring to a foreign club.[20] Manchester United also fined Cantona two weeks' wages and he was stripped of the French captaincy;[21] his club eventually lost the Premier League title to Blackburn Rovers.

But IMO the ball boy's actions were far worse - as he was interrupting the game.

Yes, the ball boy should be thrown out of the Swansea Youth Academy for wasting time, and that appalling acting afterwards...Originally posted by BrilloPad View PostBBC News - Swansea ball boy: Eden Hazard to avoid police action
Should action be taken? And if so, what?
Oh not what you mean
Hazard is royally screwed, the FA have no choice but not to throw the book at him.

Regardless of what the ball boy did you can't go kicking people like that, Hazard should be banned for a while. Chelsea really are twats united aren't they.
Regarding the ball boys action, very unsporting, so hit Swansea with a hefty fine.

Apparently he posted on twitter before the game what he planned to do! And said something like "the king of ball boys is back".Originally posted by minestrone View PostHe watched a group of people kicking a ball then as soon as it comes near him he jumps on it in order to frustrate a player who is paid to kick a ball.
People as thick as that deserve to be kicked.
Its incredibly unsporting - its a game of football not WW3. Another nail in the coffin of the UK.

Rescind the card and move on, it was a heat of the moment thing and they have both apologised.

Sounds like the fashion police were out in force.Meanwhile, three Chelsea supporters were arrested before last night's match for possessing flares following a joint operation between South Wales Police and Swansea City.

The ball boy should be banned from doing that job ever again. If he had not behaved they way he had the situation would never have arose.
As punishment he should be made to spend the rest of his life in Swansea
