    Glasgow actually, where they all lived happily ever after.

    One of them was asked, a few years later if they would like to go back , just out of nostalgia.
    He most definately did not, it's a nice place to visit, but a horrible existance if you live there.

    No disrespect to anyone but I would want to be ultra sure that the skipper was highly competent and reasonably risk averse. Not a place to come unstuck in from what I've heard.

    I know a bunch of local guys who sail there once a year, chip in for expenses.

    Some stay on the boat the rest camp on the island for a few days. Never managed to make the gig cos of work but I can hook you up.

    now I want to go back.

    Are there any Scots sailing blokes, preferably drunken musicians, who might be able to offer advice or assistance ?
