    The rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer.

    Gorz in his essay "Farewell to the working class" 1970’s suggested that society would change and divide into the “knowledge elite” and the “under-class”, the “working class” with skills and secure job would disappear. Working class jobs have been de-skilled to the point that anyone can do them, so wages have decreased and the under-class do not have secure jobs.
