If you have a LinkedIn profile - just put a link to that on the CV. Though its been so long since I've had a CV...they're almost kind obsolete now IMHO.

Depends on your target market. In some countries it's normal to put a photo on your cv, in others it is not.Originally posted by stevejohnson View Postthinking to put my pic on my cv, not for something else just to make it look nicer, but also its been ages since i updated the thing so that be a nice way to freshen it up
In some European countries it is required, and one agent in Paris looked at my cv then whipped out a camera and snapped me without a word. No photo ==> bin.
OTOH some places don't like to see it. It's not that it seems narcissistic, it's just that it would be illegal to discriminate on the basis of anything you could tell ftom a photo.

A picture on an IT CV sounds a bit naff to me, although it might avoid the 1 in 1000 risk of an interviewer thinking you were someone else (has been known I'm sure).Originally posted by stevejohnson View Postthinking to put my pic on my cv, not for something else just to make it look nicer, but also its been ages since i updated the thing so that be a nice way to freshen it up
The best way to freshen it up is to try and think of more acronyms and buzz words, IMHO.
