Absolutely - politicians jump on bandwagons, which are mostly started by the media. Look at the Megan's Law thing they are considering bringing in over here. This is spoof news - Radio 2 are running a discussion at the moment - what would it be like if the tabloid editors ran the country and kicked out all the politicians. Sounds like a damn fine idea to me
