Don't laugh. I'm deadly serious. If he plays as well as he does for Bayern Munich (voted player of the team by the Bayern fans ahead of Ballack), as a holding player, a kind of Makelele, then Gerard and Lampard can go forward at will. It's a shame he hasn't gelled well for England and the fans booing him is not helping his confidence.
