    Re: 'arkwright'?

Trouble with gadgets is with the prices falling continually for better versions by the time you're bored with them they are worth feck all and hardly worth the effort of listing. It's against my religion to just bung 'em though so they hang around until even I have to admit that is the best solution.

I have a shedload of gadgets but they are the ones people have everywhere.

Mostly been doing garden benches and small bits of furniture so far.

Far too time consuming though without good pictures.

    Not a bad start then.

It's been a long while since I did any selling on eBay but I do have a build up of surplus gadgets I need to get shot of - as always the problem is drumming up enough enthusiasm to put the ads together for odds and ends.

Most of my feedback came from multiple sales of the same item which I found I could buy online for about a quarter of the going rate on eBay. In the end I couldn't be bothered making the effort though so I just sold off what was left.

Think ive sold just over £450 in the last three weeks and Ive got another £200 or so going out this week. So about 10 times your yearly income.:rolleyes

So far only one item not sold. Just bought myself a Cubelite for taking pictures of products - quite a cool item to be honest.

Trouble is my new contract takes be 3 hours travelling each day and if I could actually get a seat on the train then it wouldnt be a problem - but I cant. Ffffing trains!!!!!>:

Don't be nasty to fiddle. He is a trend setter and my lifestyle guru. Unfunny and dull is the new black on CUK. Did I mention what I had for breakfast? Well anyway I had Shredded Wheat beause we had run out of Wheetabix but at least there was some fresh milk today I do like the cream off the top of the milk on my cereal and afterwards I had a cup of coffee and went out to feed the birds and it was a bit dull at first but got really sunny later and I went upstairs and found some clean socks although I could not quite find a pair that matched but

Guest started a topic Post of the day Thurs 23 June.

Post of the day Thurs 23 June.

Well today I've had several chortles but my votr goes to thunderlizard for his response to one of threaded's inane posts (about chimney sweeps on this occasion)...

    -----------------------
    Threaded:
    Chimney Sweep has just arrived
Oh, my gawd, what an outfit. He is even wearing a top hat. Outstanding.

    thunderlizard :
Ah, yes. Thank goodness for the specialist escort agencies. They sure know about offering affordable pleasure to the discerning eccentric.

"now bend over Sir while I put down dust sheets and fit the brush together"
    -----------------------

The one about industrial strenght bondage masks in the same thread came a close second IMO.

Working...
