    They (or more likely Java bit) will be bought by IBM when they go bust - the only way they can stop from going bust is to buy AMD, because who needs these overpriced rip off Sun processors when you have good AMD stuff and Core 2 from Intel kicks butt.

    Oh, there's going to more than 8 cpus, this is just one box one day to join in the cluster of one of my clients that I've currently got to play with.

    I've got Condor up, so I'm happy, and wondering what I can do with it now.

    Look, if you want to run 8 cpu's on Windows on the cheap, get a copy of Windows 2000 Advanced Server off eBay. It supports 8 CPU's and you can play Quake on it if you wish.

    Bad news: Over the next 6 months week Sun are to loose 5000 jobs 'worldwide'. Oh No !!

    Good news: In the following 6 months Sun create 5000 jobs in India. Hurrah !!
