    Brown envelopes worry me not at all now that I have been Permie for nearly 4 years

    In fact, the last 2 brownies from Mr Revenue arrived with cheques because I'd been over-taxed

    Got mail this morning. One was a brown envelope with a return address of Cumbernauld. HMRC i thought.

    So i opened it, and the first words i saw in big black bold letters said It's been a while since we've seen you...

    Then flipped it over and noticed the Spec Savers logo at the top.

    Panic over
