I'm with Natwest... But the limits are a little cagey, hence why i want them to tell me.

Are you talking about setting a new payee and transferring that way?

Yes. you can set up a standing order or just make single transfers.

Don't forget you need the NatW card reader for security when setting up a new payee/account.

The good thing is, you can do it anywhere you can get internet access

I Bank with NatWest and can arrange transfers online in seconds for same day or in advance or set up standing orders for transfers weekly, monthly whatever. All payments/transfers subject to sufficient funds being available at that time obviously.

I often transfer money into family accounts that they can draw on immediately (daughter usually at supermarket checkout without sufficient funds in her credit account).

I can transfer £10 or £100,000 (never transferred more than this).

Check with your own bank if you have this online facility.

Yes, you can set up as a future dated payment. All banks are different, all likely though to do a balance check before the funds are released on payment date to ensure sufficient funds available.

Wont be an issue if my business manager confirms the faster payment limit to be above £10k, but i doubt we qualify for "Commercial" banking levels...

Can you set one up in advance? e.g. the week before as I know I'm not going to be around on the day the funds need to be.

To complicate it more, can you set a CHAPS up prior to the funds being in place, but it will be on the day of payment?
