Why not cover it in a nice big sheet, it would only cost a few pounds and might look elegant and stylishly fashionable. Would keep the dust off too.

Reupholstery cost reasonable?
I have a sofabed bought in 1999 for about £1000 that's showing wear. I have an estimate for reupholstery of about £1100. (£650 recovering labour, £360 worth of fabric at £30 per square metre, plus £45 each to refill two seat cushions.)
Is this reasonable (for London near City) or should I look around?
I can buy an almost identical sofabed new from the same place as the original for about £1500.Tags: None
