I had that double glazed bullet proof stuff installed at manufacture in a BMW 7. Really a royal pain in the ass when the computer broke down, there was absolutely no way out of the car until a BMW technician arrived.

Car window security glass

Anyone had this done and found it worked, i.e. getting that plastic laminate stuff put on the windows and actually having the experience of it stopping someone smashing the window to try to get in the car?
