    Yep - and she did.

    Industrial placement as part of my degree - my replacement couldn't hack not being near home and the fact that she hadn't built up enough holiday allowance to be able to take a week off for her birthday, and left. I stayed on for another six weeks while they tried to find a replacement - which ended up being a permanent position.

    It was a great job, and people were lining up to apply for the permanent role when it became available, but she went back home to work for daddy (how that qualified as part of her degree, I don't know).
