Is that the right-wingers line they roll out if you question the ONS figures. It would be pretty hard to hide 10M people - unless they're scattered amongst the vast boreal forest in the UK...or they'r hiding in Sasguru's cellar.

As you are an expert on US immigration.what's the form I fill out to apply as a skilled migrant?

23 immigrants a minute, that's 33,120 a day! Every day, including today, for years on end. So this month that will be one million people and approximately 12,096,804 a year. Over 12 million a year on a population that used to be around 55 million. At this rate, we might end up sinking like Atlantis.

If we didnt have immigrants, or even just stuck to the migration policy we have in place, like other countries like the US, which means that migrants only come in on temporary visa's or skill set visa's, then there would be plenty of jobs to go around.

However the mainstream parties would love you to believe it is racist. Unfortunately we live in a country where anyone wanting to put citizens interests before foreigners is called a racist. The bleeding heart liberals will continue to take anyone who finds the UK more attractive than their homeland at the cost of our own interests.

Good argument, however I'd like to counter that when a society grows to the point of ours, where the number of people not working on welfare claiming, outstrips the income tax generated, a country's economy has a real issue.

When we have dwindling industries and job declines in their masses over the past half century, such as mining, dock hands, manufacturing and tooling just to name a few due to it being uneconomical to carry on before as technology advances and world disparity between countries increases, it is sheer lunacy to grow the populace by over 12 million a year in my opinion.

It is far from foolproof, but the US is acknowledged as having one of the tightest migration policies in the world. To get in there and stay legally, is very difficult.

However as every other country, they have massive illegal immigration issues. However unlike the UK who accept everyone claiming political asylum and entering the country illegally, the US are much more likely to deport people. Although I think they realise it is a war they cant win and instead focus their efforts on border control between them and Mexico. Another factor that shows that they are losing the battle is Caucasians are now the minority in the US and in the years to come, Hispanics in some parts will be the biggest ethnic group by having over a 50% share.

Going on to their economy quickly, the US is in better shape than Europe inflation wise. Their inflation is actually lower now than it was in 2000 and has been quite stable. However as you said, they have mass unemployment and a major reason I see is their failure to adapt quickly enough. The "rust belt" in the states, lumped all their eggs in one basket and as manufacturing dwindled, they failed to adopt new industries to sustain the populace. This can be seen plainly in places like Chicago. Other sectors such as web commerce and burst bubbles there can be seen in California, however at least on the west coast, they haven't been affected as much, because they have more diversity in employment.

Wow, you really believe any government propaganda you're told don't you? Or just have no knowledge of UK immigration at all.
