Not watched the new one yet, will do, but loved the original Swedish version.

The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo Movie - the new one

Just watched it - DVDSCR from the usual places, it's the same almost frame for frame as the Swedish version, minus any atmosphere or suspense.

Why can't they leave these things alone?

If I'd have gone to the flicks to see it could I have had my money back cos it's almost the same as the original I already paid to watch?

I got the DVD set of the original TV series the first film was made from, with English subs, that's class, 3hrs long...

I love language and Swedish is one of my favourites, lilting like Welsh. Can't beat a bit of Swedish Mother (or MILF) tongue.....
