Blair vows time gap for successor

Mr Blair says he wants to get on with the business of government
Tony Blair has tried to reassure MPs by saying he will give his successor time to "bed in" before the next election.

Considering the office of "Deputy Prime Minister" would conceivably be the post from which the next PM elect would hail from, surely John Prescott has done enough "bedding in" to satisfy Tony Blair's criteria ?
