I assume that urbandictionary is always open at overseas call centres to ensure they can keep up with every day speech.

Wife got the call the other day, what annoys me the most is who the hell is selling my number that's on the TPS list and ex-directory.

Wife new the scam as I had to sweep some old woman's laptop that had fallen foul of them. Thankfully she managed to stop the payment before it went through, they then had the cheek to phone her back looking for the money

Funnily, nothing dodgy added, just some freeware that will point out all these dodgy registry entries to look like they're actually doing something.

Ah! Maybe he was building up to his icebreaker joke. Something like, "Do you like raw meat", "No I like it cooked", "Well our report shows your computer has spam"

I ruined it by asking if he enjoyed raw cow.

I always ask what Microsoft Windows is. Then I ask what an operating system is. Then I ask what a computer is.

started a topic Indian scam centre hung up on me

Indian scam centre hung up on me

I've had this bunch call a few times recently so decided to run through their offering. He starts by saying their m$ certified experts have found I've been loading infections to the internet. I asked for my IP address repeatedly and he couldn't give it to me. Bizarrely he then asked if I liked raw meat (took a few goes before I understood what he was asking) and I replied I liked steak tartare, did he like steak tartare? Supervisor then took over so I asked him what my IP address was that was loading infections and he called me a timewaster. Told him to stop being a scammer and he hung up. I could have lasted at least another 10 minutes. Timeshare sales have much more staying power.

Working...
