It seems that most companies only offer 24 month deals that's a longtime to be tied in for, especially when no-one really reads all the T&C's these days
-
I fail to see where I was whining about it - I'm, aware that they are increasing the bill, I have not complained to them but obviously I'm not happy to have my tarrif increased given that I only took the second handset in March. I shall simply look elsewhere at renewal time and hope that all the other providers don't take the same route to boosting their profits that Orange have. I will obviously be telling them why I'm changing provider. Not whining in the slightest as far as I'm concerned.Originally posted by AtW View PostYes, it's all your fault.
Instead of whining about Orange submit your offer to increase your rates by only rate of inflation if accepted before Xmas, double otherwise.

Yes, it's all your fault.Originally posted by BoredBloke View PostThe point is that this term has been in their contracts for a while and like most people I didn't read their T&C's - yes that was my fault and that's why I have not complained.

I got a text in 1st Dec saying there was going to be a 4.34% increase, then this Monday another text saying it was all a mistake, sorry for any confusion and there isn't any increase after all....

Me neither, infact while they were generally pretty useless I did get some hefty refunds out of them over the years I was with them but reception... I only left 3 because their reception was just soooo bad where I work. Also the 3 phone we got for our son while he was away at school got a pretty terrible reception also - fine at home but he's away more than he is at home! If they fixed their network I'd be back like a shot. Their unlimited data is handy simply because you know you won't get charged extra. None of the others offer that.....just a shame you can't get a reception to get the unlimited data!Originally posted by The Spartan View PostI've never had a problem with them and I have found the coverage to be superb.

Blatant profiteering that you realise is happening.Originally posted by sasguru View PostAfter this cntract ends I will move on. I suggest you avoid Orange like the plague - I've never had this blatant profiteering happen with any other company.
I'm willing to bet that you have been subject to blatant profiteering that you have been unaware of.Last edited by Sysman; 15 December 2011, 14:34.
