Turned up at the Counting House at 7pm, wandering around like a lost soul from then until 8pm without seeing anyone I recognised from previous years.
Assuming I didn't get the wrong week, next time we'll have to agree a spot to meet within the pub, or else exchange a few mobile numbers beforehand.
Are you serious? Were you there? There was a CUK sign on the window at the back and cojak posted we were on the club room which was just to the right of the sign!
If you mean the room leading to the side passages outside, I walked through there two or three times.
Not having recognised anyone by 8pm, I assumed I'd turned up a week early, and it's pretty dreary and depressing standing around on one's own in a crowded pub
Thinking about it, the 16th seemed to make more sense as it was nearer Christmas
They were in the club room apparently which is up the back.
