Which is why I will never work in the US and A, EU next, I'm retiring in Russia, my missus' elderlies are all 80/90 plus it's the demicks/chavs that bring the average down to 57 by dying at 30.

Not forgetting the travesty that is the USAPATRIOT actOriginally posted by TheFaQQer View PostSOPA is also known as the E-PARASITE (Enforcing and Protecting American Rights Against Sites Intent on Theft and Exploitation) Act
I wonder if there is a specific job in America where you spend all your time coming up with names for legislation which makes an amusing acronym. They did the same with CANSPAM (Controlling the Assault of Non-Solicited Pornography And Marketing Act)

Some awful American law that they are trying to push through (Stop Online Piracy Act). I think it essentially means that any site which carries a link to illegal material can be shut down.Originally posted by Spacecadet View Postwhats SOPA?
Torrents shouldn't be affected.. all the big torrent sites (kickass, pirate bay etc...) all share the same torrent files anyway.
According to Wikipedia "The bill would require internet service providers to filter DNS queries of offending websites, rendering them unresolvable."

Not a good sign for legal websites, let alone anything naughty.

KickAss Torrents
Went on the KickAss Torrents site last night and there was a pop-up to say anyone from the USA was blocked from accessing the site.
Hope it doesn't slowdown my downloads
